High Gloss Finish: The Rattler is finished with Brunswick's Factory Finish High Gloss Polish to maximize the skid-snap reaction out of the box. This surface preparation will allow most bowlers to match-up to both freshly oiled and moderately broken down house conditions.
The Copperhead targets one of the most popular reactions in the bowling ball industry, Reactive Solid Sanded. This type of ball reaction is embraced by many bowlers as the best all-around combination of coverstock and surface finish. Providing high hook potential with a controllable ball reactions and good pin carry.
Low RG Rocket Core: The Copperhead uses Brunswick’s Multi-Sided Rocket Core System which provides a low RG to help the ball rev-up sooner and create tremendous mid-lane recovery.
800-Grit Wet Sand Finish: The Copperhead is finished with an 800-grit wet sand finish which will allow most bowlers to match-up to both freshly oiled and moderately broken down house conditions. Plenty of traction on all but the oiliest lanes combined with a strong backend reaction. The low Rg, combined with the 800 grit finish, helps the Copperhead bite the lane quicker and send poison to the pins.
The Swarm combines a pearlized PowrKoil 18 coverstock with the new medium RG Honeycomb core to create a strong skid/snap ball reaction. With its pearlized surface the Swarm delivers good length on all but the driest lane conditions combined with a aggressive and angular breakpoint.
Medium RG Honeycomb Core: The Swarm uses Brunswick’s new Multi-Sided Honeycomb Core System which incorporates a honeycomb of high and low density fillers to create an optimum medium RG match-up for length and angularity. The Swarm’s medium RG helps push the ball through the mid-lane, creating a buzz at the breakpoint that stings the pins.
High Gloss Polish Finish: The Swarm is finished with Brunswick’s High Gloss Polish Factory Finish. This finish works beautifully with PowerKoil 18 to create length and a angular back-end.
The Sidewinder features Brunswick’s first Solid / Pearl Hybrid - Low Load Particle coverstock. Known for mid-lane recovery with controlled and continuous breakpoints, the Brunswick low load particle ball reaction has been a favorite for many types of bowlers on both high scoring house shots and more demanding sport lane conditions.
The Sidewinder’s version of the low load particle coverstock is an updated version of the same coverstock made popular by the Fuze® Eliminator, Danger Zone® Pro HPD and Navy Quantum®. The Sidewinder version is Solid / Pearl hybrid with a low load of traction increasing particles distributed in all colors.
The Sidewinder upgrades the performance of the BVP Ambush by using Brunswick’s new lower RG Rocket core system. The lower RG of the Rocket core helps the Sidewinder get into an earlier roll which helps create more mid-lane recovery on today’s high viscosity oils and hard synthetic lane surfaces.
•On typical house shots, the BVP Sidewinder’s low load particle coverstock helps smooth over reactions to the driest parts of the lane, creating a smoother but more predictable ball reaction that many bowlers prefer.
•On more demanding sport shots, the BVP Sidewinder’s low load particle coverstock and low RG Rocket core increases mid-lane traction helping to create mid-lane recovery and improve the skid/roll/hook ball transition when reactive coverstock balls are going too long.
